The Parents Who Help Run Our School

At Higher Elevations, families are partners. One of the clearest ways we live that is our Parent Advisory Council, and right now it is open to new members.

The Council is a group of parents who sit close to how the school works. They give real feedback on the things that shape your week: our calendar, our closures, the rhythm of the year. We bring every real decision to them, and we listen.

Council parents bring ideas that boost our teachers and lift morale. They help other families feel connected. Many of them volunteer when the school needs a hand.

Any parent at Higher Elevations can join. The group gathers for just 45 minutes every other month, so it asks little of a busy family.

Parents who help steer the school make the whole school stronger. The calendar fits real families better. Our teachers feel backed. And the parent community grows. If you want a seat, reach out to Jamilah Trent, our Center Director, and she will welcome you in.
