Black Food Sovereign Coalition
The Black Food Sovereignty Coalition (BFSC) mission is to ignite Black and Brown communities to participate as owners and movement leaders within food systems, placemaking, and economic development.
We serve as a collaboration hub for Black and Brown communities to confront the systemic barriers that make food, place and economic opportunities inaccessible to us. BFSC is focused on meeting these barriers with creative, innovative, and sustainable solutions.

St Therese Catholic School
In September of 1955, the first students were enrolled in a building that had two classrooms, a sanctuary, two lavatories and a small office.
From those humble beginnings, St. Therese Catholic School now enters the seventieth year of forming young students in academics and faith. Through the years, there have been Sisters as teachers and principals at different points in time.
St. Therese Catholic School K-8 has grown over the decades and graduated many students into the local Catholic High Schools and on to still greater achievements.

The Wet Spot Tropical Fish
Founded in 1999 and based in Portland, Oregon, The Wet Spot Tropical Fish is the largest freshwater-only fish store on the West Coast. Our mission is to make the aquarium hobby fun, approachable, and accessible to everyone.
We’re known for our incredible selection, healthy fish, and knowledgeable, friendly staff. Unlike many retailers, we don’t transship—our fish are housed in a dedicated holding facility to recover from travel before being offered for sale. Multco Preschool For All
Preschool for All came from a two-year community planning process. More than 100 people created a vision for Multnomah County children and their families. Voters in Multnomah County overwhelmingly supported the Preschool for All ballot measure. 64 percent of voters approved the measure in November 2020. Measure 26-214 directed the Department of County Human Services to administer the program.
​
Preschool for All (PFA) connects 3- and 4-year-olds in Multnomah County to free preschool. The number of children and families served grows each year. In 2030, all interested families will have access to free preschool.
